Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! Don’t be shy. Seattle has just put itself on the Street Art Map, and here’s your invitation to a private tour! That’s right, with just the scroll of your screen you have the chance to witness some of the most amazing urban art Seattle has produced, all in one place! And that place? Why it’s none other than ‘Dozer’s Warehouse’.
This here is Crick Lont, aka Dozer, the Seattle street artist who organized today’s event. What exactly am I talking about? Well, Dozer gathered up a BUNCH of his graffiti-making friends, street art acquaintances and other artists he simply thought might be interested in creating some large scale art, brought them into the bottom two floors of a building that’s going to be torn down next month…and let them loose! They ended up creating over 100 works in about a week! Unreal.
Just like that, Dozer’s Warehouse was born. And it might be gone by the time you read this. That’s the glorious thing about street art, it’s so often short-lived in the wild.
Here’s a quick video I took from upstairs showing one small section of the Warehouse. There was SOOO much pure painting bliss that Anner and I spent a good two hours soaking it all in!
Ten Hundred made an amazing video showing the production of his piece (here). It’s also got an interview with Dozer in it talking about how he created the Warehouse exhibition. Highly recommended!
There is honestly waaaaay too much to celebrate in just one post, so let’s consider this simply a taste, shall we?
The show continues next post…

Great art! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, what fun and what talent. My favorite is the lovely flower in the last photo who is standing in the middle of a painted flower. These make me wish it was easier to get over and explore with you. Now if only Seattle were more accepting of this art on buildings that weren’t about to be knocked down.
