* A couple of notes and lessons learned in Bali
Nights in Country/Cost Per Day – Ten (10) nights were part of our snorkel safari. The snorkel safari included hotel rooms, transport, and some meals. We included all other costs we incurred during this portion of the trip under the line item Snorkel Safari. Seven (7) nights we traveled independently. All the costs that are broken out and listed by category are for these 7 nights. We also had two nights (Sept. 3, Sept. 20) that were spent on planes in/out of Bali.
Transportation – We are tracking inter-country transportation separately. In the case of Bali, we flew from Ulanbaatar, Mongolia to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia for $1007 on Korean Air.
Entertainment – Includes our two spectacular batik classes. Take one if you ever get the chance! And see the Kecak, Fire and Trance Dance!
Gear – Had a button sewed back on Aaron’s pants. We also purchased about $55 in summer-weight clothes, waterproof camera bag and sunscreen, but all of those costs are included in the line item for the Snorkel Safari.
