It feels like we’ve been crazily busy lately and sort of falling behind on our blogging – hopefully it hasn’t felt that way for you, our wonderful readers, but we’re running three countries behind now! Yikes! Don’t worry, I promise we’ll be sharing our adventures in Dublin and Barcelona very soon. In the meantime, though, I couldn’t resist making this super quick missive to tell you our latest stop and show off the new camera!
With a two week break before our upcoming housesit in the mountains of southern Spain, we realized this would be a perfect moment to zip up to Zurich, Switzerland to see some friends who’ve been living there for the last four and a half years (old co-workers of Anner’s). May I just say that I love Europe’s super cheap airfares allowing us to “zip up to” someplace exotic? Amazing. Anyway, there’ll be more on that in a few weeks, but for now allow me to present some photos from our flight in. It’s the Alps, everybody, THE ALPS!
Wow! How many stamps do you have on your passports? Are you ready to come back to grey dreary Seattle?
Nope, not at all ready! But the time is a-coming, sadly. Think you could get some sunshine for us before we arrive? We appreciate it!
So excited to see what this next leg of the journey holds!
Us, too! You never know what’s around the bend…or over that next mountain.
Hope you are still enjoying yourselves! Looks like it.
Home! Hallo Alpen!
We hope you enjoy Switzerland, eat lots of chocolate, have a fondue or raclette and have a great time!
Best from the neighbors!
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate – check, check, check!
We were on the Italian side of the Alps in September…Lake Orta and Maggiore, and into the Dolomites. Beautiful!!! Enjoy!
